Four Paws is owned by Matt and Megan Ruona and is located just a frisbee’s throw away from the beach, east at 144 Laneda avenue. Last May, the Ruona’s chose to step away from a life of television and advertising and instead, focused on their true interests and leaped at the opportunity to follow their dream of owning their own business, in a town, by the sea.
Four Paws offers a wide variety of just about every dog (or cat) product your fur baby could want. From the best chew toys (for every sized dog imaginable) and the tastiest and healthiest treats (are you sure I can’t eat that too?), to the knowledgable and friendly staff who are more than happy to assist or just chat about animal care; their vibrant and welcoming shop is always filled with cute pups and happy visitors.
Four Paws also works alongside local animal refuges and shelters, like Animal Haven by the Sea to make sure as many foster and stray cats and dogs get the loving homes they need. They feature a “pet of the month” on their website and also have in store adoption viewing “adoption days” as well, to educate and encourage adopters.
