Born in Palmer Alaska, Morgan spent most of her childhood and young adult years balancing her time between the Oregon Coast and her home town in Alaska. By living in such impressive and vastly different areas, she gained inspiration from both. The massive mountains and striking landscapes in the north and the multitude of rivers, lakes and bays that make up this part of the coast flowed together to create the eye and perspective she creates through today.
She continued to hone her skills and education by attending art college in Alaska and then migrating to Portland, Oregon to experience city life. After years, Morgan realized she missed the open spaces and landscape that the city could not provide and decided to move back to the Oregon coast and has been pursuing her passions and advancing her art here, ever since. Her most recent artistic challenge and focus has been to harness the movement of water within her paintings.
